Webb12 dec. 2024 · Find the location of the MAF sensor in your Focus, unplug the electrical connectors, and remove the sensor from the housing. Spray at least 10 spurts of MAF cleaner onto the sensor and then let it air dry for an hour or until completely dry. Do not use cloth or cotton swabs to clean the sensor, as it can damage it. Webb29 okt. 2024 · What is weird is that when set to eye focus it actually focuses faster. When I have it set to single point and single shot mode it is very slow to acquire focus. The lighting condition doesn’t change it. A totally different experience than the Z6. That doesn't bother me that much. But AF consistency in good light bothers.

Webb4 apr. 2016 · I've just run a quick test in a morning light at f/1.8: AF is focusing somewhat reliably, having trouble locking focus when shooting towards the sun and low-contrast objects. At f/4 it's already much slower and confused and at f/8 it's pretty much useless. EDIT: I just did the factory reset and it seems that now AF's working a lot better.
